Hi everyone. My name is Jordan Musbach and I am a sophmore. I am a Social Studies Major and Physical Education Minor, and plan to teach at the Secondary level, hopefully Middle School. I am from Woodland, Mi which is a very small town half way between Grand Rapids and Lansing. In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing sports. Along with teaching I would also like to coach basketball in the future.
I am really excited to learn a lot from this class. I really enjoy learning about history. It is by far my favorite subject, but I have never had an opurtunity to take a world history class before. I am looking forward to learning about cultures and history from other parts of the world. I also hope to use this class to improve my writing skills and become as good of a writer as I can. I am looking forward to learning a great deal in this class and being able to use this blog to share what I learn with others.

About me
Hello! My name is Joe Kamps and I am a 4th year student, I transferred from Michigan State and this will by my second year here at Grand Valley. I am and Integrated Science major and I want to be a teacher. The area that I want to focus on and class I want to teach one day is around the kindergarten and preschool age of children. I am a very active person I keep in shape and work out on a daily basis, I love basketball, water polo, and swimming, but I also love kicking back and having some fun from time to time. I love learning and one of my huge interest is the world around me.
I am hoping to walk away from this class a better writer, and generally knowing more about history. I enjoy history and it is fun to learn about the things that came before us, but the most important thing I want from this class is to come away a better writer. Writing well is one of the most important skills that some one can have and while understanding ancient history is useful and important, being a good writer is going to help you in more aspects of life.

Myself and Expectations
Hi everyone. My name is Nick. I am a Senior Bio Medical Science Major and will be graduating in the spring. The past summer I spent studying for the MCAT and applying to medical schools. I am now nervously waiting to get accepted somewhere. My home town is Traverse City, Michigan. In my free time i enjoy playing ultimate frisbee and playing with my puppy.
I have always had a passion for history but have been limited to American and European history classes. My expectations for this assignment are that each student will choose a topic and share the details that are most interesting. This way we get a broad spectrum of topics but are not bogged down with the boring particulars. I also hope to develop better writing skills with this blog.
